Student Complaints
It seems that no matter what we do as teachers, our students always find something to complain about when it comes to work, class, and school in general! Just the other day, we began setting up our blogs for Digital Journalism. I thought the students would enjoy blogging and interacting with one another, but no, that would just be way too easy! Instead half of them made their first post about the fact that they had to blog once a week. After I had read these posts, I very politely told them that I would be more than happy to assign book work in place of the blog. I didn't get any comments back from that, so maybe that's what I should do next week - I bet they wouldn't complain anymore.

I also think it is fun! I might have to consider the extra credit ;)
ReplyDeleteI do like blogging everyday! It's just harder to write something entertaining when you know 13 other people are going to read it! I think it's much easier when you think no one cares what you write about.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is a lot of fun it's just hard to think on the spot..... It's also quite unique to be a creative individual, no one can have your thoughts because the are your own and no one can take that away from you. Yes people can have the same thought but it's different in many ways for every person.
